Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Rostholm to make the kick off. Rodrigo Tome was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to KINGS FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Arias Navas hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Rostholm came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Børge Buhr to maneuver through the defense. KINGS FC made a substitution. Cássio Calçada replaced Jānis Blūms. After 67 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Børge Buhr. Rodrigo Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Sosa in the 69th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Nichlas Vesterdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arthur Shelby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leal Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Rostholm's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Bruno Steenbeck replaced Rene Rostholm. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by KINGS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rodrigo Tome was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Børge Buhr almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KINGS FC's Leal Simões did a great save. Nichlas Vesterdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Calçada, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Randers A.F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
