The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Nemir Al Hammady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nemesio Hechter sped through MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dinu Oardă. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goalkeeper Dinu Oardă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute Nemesio Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Capua Whitewolves's Jass Villems got control of the ball when Ernest Oprescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dinu Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Hechter, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Nemesio Hechter struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Dinu Oardă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capua Whitewolves. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. Nemesio Hechter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dinu Oardă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Hechter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Oardă was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Jass Villems made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lucila in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Capua Whitewolves's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Lucila came free, but Jass Villems reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Elari Hirv dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dinu Oardă, 0-2. 89 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Ernest Oprescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jass Villems narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Capua Whitewolves's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Frumușanu came free, but Jass Villems reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Capua Whitewolves supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Capua Whitewolves would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
