When Benjamin da Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin da Fonseca couldn't finish the play. With 11 minutes on the clock, José Pedro Borges commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pesqueira City! Mădălin Lunca had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Rogerio Oblak's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 13th minute Claudio Caniglia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Norbert Jaktorowo could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Mădălin Lunca however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benjamin da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mădălin Lunca was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Claudio Caniglia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Caniglia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 41st minute Janusze Futbolu were awarded a corner. Rogerio Oblak went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Janusze Futbolu's corner Rogerio Oblak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mădălin Lunca quite easily take care of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes, Norbert Jaktorowo made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 55 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Jaktorowo came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Miliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Rogerio Oblak almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet as Pesqueira City's Ionuț Iniesta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter-Michael Schmeichel. That made the score 2-1 after 69 minutes of play. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Cristiano Bezerra replaced Ştefan Frunză. Pesqueira City's Doriva Zanette was substituted for Ignat Nozharov. 79 minutes into the game, Janusze Futbolu's Norbert Jaktorowo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mădălin Lunca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 82 minutes into the match, Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin da Fonseca. In the 86th minute, Norbert Jaktorowo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Janusze Futbolu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 89 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Miliano came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Jaktorowo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Lunca having to interfere. Janusze Futbolu's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
