But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When André Roriz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave André Roriz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin da Fonseca. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Ling Jing, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when André Roriz came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Sakarias Fernkvist in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Garanhão do SUL's 龙然明. Benjamin da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cui Ling Jing came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pesqueira City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cui Ling Jing couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Fonseca in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignatius Casasola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Ling Jing, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cui Ling Jing in the 55th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Cui Ling Jing came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Josué Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignatius Casasola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Frunză in the 67th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Costa got free with Mădălin Lunca in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Costa's late challenge caught a Pesqueira City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Edgar Costa got a free kick in the 80th minute. Pesqueira City made a substitution.
