The Gallardo y Biscay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tiran Piedra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Gallardo y Biscay FC's Benvide Ponte made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Sindo to make the kick off.
