But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Rodrigo couldn't finish the play. Duke Munoz came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by 26 de junio's David de Alcântara. But to his dismay, David de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Rodrigo in the 22nd minute of play forced 26 de junio's goalkeeper Donato Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Rodrigo in the 22nd minute of play. João Rodrigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Donato Cutberto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lincoln Hand in the 32nd minute of play. Donato Cutberto made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kacper Wasikowski sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Olaf Osielski made in the 53rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sam Malone however managed to control. A collision led to 26 de junio getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Melquiades Guzman hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Gavino Lobo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. 26 de junio's David de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lincoln Hand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Lobo made a great header on 26 de junio's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Duke Munoz managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when David de Alcântara got free with Duke Munoz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Lincoln Hand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Cutberto. 26 de junio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lincoln Hand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.D. Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gavino Lobo was slow to take the kick. During this time 26 de junio's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by David de Alcântara in the 91st minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Lobo made a great header on 26 de junio's corner, it was just that S.D. Bajen's Duke Munoz managed to reach the ball for a save. Duke Munoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Lapurdi in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 26 de junio eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
