AntraX FDP.'s Ponce Ibaute was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jefferson Oliveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by López Heredia in the 14th minute of play forced Hartmann Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Jefferson Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Vime ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jefferson Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from López Heredia in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for López Heredia to strike the kick off in the second half. Valentyn Lobanovsjkyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jefferson Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Trengereid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentyn Lobanovsjkyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jefferson Oliveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentyn Lobanovsjkyi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Silva in the 91st minute of play forced AntraX FDP.'s goalkeeper Kjell Trengereid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
