An unexpectedly hard shot by Aengus Duggan in the 4th minute of play forced Sporting Clube Palmela's goalkeeper 黄洋榕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes, Aengus Duggan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Clube Palmela's 黄洋榕 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Patrício got free with Fryderyk Lepper in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute of the match Sporting Clube Palmela got a corner. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermenegildo Morais ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hermenegildo Morais made a great header on Sporting Clube Palmela's corner, it was just that Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper managed to reach the ball for a save. 黄洋榕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Duggan in the 10th minute of the match. Mahmut Durul in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fryderyk Lepper, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd minute, Sporting Clube Palmela's Eliseu Patrício ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fryderyk Lepper. Fryderyk Lepper yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 27th minute Eliseu Patrício shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Clube Palmela's 黄洋榕 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aengus Duggan in the 28th minute of play. 黄洋榕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coileán McAlphie in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Eliseu Patrício recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fryderyk Lepper. Eliseu Patrício showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 43rd minute, Kaine McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coileán McAlphie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Prunaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Kevinn Mulvihill. Fryderyk Lepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Patrício in the 56th minute of play. With his leg 黄洋榕 managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aengus Duggan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aengus Duggan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 黄洋榕 came out and tried to block the shot, but Aengus Duggan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Aengus Duggan could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which 黄洋榕 however easily saved by the left post. 黄洋榕 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coileán McAlphie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Clube Palmela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Aengus Duggan scored to the left of an out of position 黄洋榕, making the score, 2-3. Aengus Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 黄洋榕 having to interfere. 黄洋榕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coileán McAlphie in the 81st minute of play. Scott Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 黄洋榕 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sporting Clube Palmela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Healey McLian was slow to take the kick. During this time Zawisza Bydgoszcz's players had a chance to rest. 88 minutes into the game, Hermenegildo Morais was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Palmela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zawisza Bydgoszcz the free kick. After 88 played minutes Sporting Clube Palmela got a freekick which was hit by Hermenegildo Morais. Sporting Clube Palmela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Aengus Duggan scored to the left of an out of position 黄洋榕, making the score, 2-4. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zawisza Bydgoszcz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
