If Gabriele Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Jan Figlewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when 庄辉雄 sent off a good shot on target. Gabriele Batistuta struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jan Figlewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Yong Yue in the 26th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Abutres 2003 FDP's Jan Figlewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 32nd minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Figlewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Jan Figlewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Campelo got free with Jan Figlewski in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malin Karolev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Menchu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menchu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
