Marek Řípa started the match with the kick off. Marek Řípa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Fryderyk Lepper made a huge save. If Kevinn Mulvihill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Marek Řípa could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Fryderyk Lepper however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper got control of the ball when Marek Řípa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Petr Anton took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fryderyk Lepper to make any attempt to save it. In the 20th minute Jan Matas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the game, Matěj Kohout landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 22 minutes, Scott Colwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zawisza Bydgoszcz and the FK Košíře Praha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Scott Colwell. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Anton in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, FK Košíře Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Coileán McAlphie came free, but Pavel Hanka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rian Dalton in the 28th minute of play forced FK Košíře Praha's goalkeeper Pavel Hanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Lepper made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marek Řípa sent off a good shot on target. Aengus Duggan scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavel Hanka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pavel Hanka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aengus Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aengus Duggan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Hanka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of FK Košíře Praha booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coileán McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Plánka struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Fryderyk Lepper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Košíře Praha. The FK Košíře Praha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were winning 1-2.

With his leg Pavel Hanka managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Coileán McAlphie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rian Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pavel Hanka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes FK Košíře Praha got a freekick which was hit by Jan Matas. Rian Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pavel Hanka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aengus Duggan in the 77th minute of the match. Pavel Hanka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coileán McAlphie in the 79th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Hanka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the game, Petr Anton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Fryderyk Lepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
