Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Remir in the 8th minute of play. If Filomeno Remir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Remir in the 12th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Vachon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Manfredi AFC from getting a goal against them. Son Banana replaced Filomeno Remir. After a rather tough play, Manfredi AFC's Cristobal Guillelmo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Son Banana did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Camilo Salvidor 70 minutes into the match. Roman Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Firmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Manfredi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Manfredi AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Menchu FC.
