Isaltino Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Taşcău, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but King Junior was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Ionică Lucescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Isaltino Couto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Aelenei in the 20th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Taşcău came free, but Isaltino Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Gheorghe Taşcău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. King Junior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 25th minute of the match. Aristides Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Couto having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Sá to maneuver through the defense. King Junior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Carneiro in the 32nd minute of the match. Danone CC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Kobra TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maurício Rodrigues took the corner. The corner led Danone CC's Enéas Carneiro to fire away a dangerous shot which King Junior despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marquinhos Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Isaltino Couto made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ionică Lucescu sent off a good shot on target.

Kobra TEAM's Aristides Paiva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Geovanni de Alcântara in the 51 minute of the game. King Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 56th minute of play. Kobra TEAM made a substitution. George Mineață replaced Cazimir Corbeanu. Kobra TEAM's Aristides Paiva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Albert Vulpe, made in the 60th minute of the game. Danone CC's Isaltino Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Taşcău in the 63rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Danone CC's Diguinho Teles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of King Junior. That made the score 0-1 after 67 minutes of play. A collision led to Kobra TEAM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Krisztián Petres hit a great ball. Maurício Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Danone CC's Samuel McQuarrie was substituted for Fausto Senna. Danone CC made a substitution. Edmundo Gol replaced Jeremias Velloso. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Taşcău in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Danone CC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. The Danone CC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
