Marcos Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Dobrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waitakere F.C.'s Marcos Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Dobrea in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gar Gamel got free with Besim Orgen in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Dobrea in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Besim Orgen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Kulp's goalkeeper Besim Orgen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piara Santo. After a defensive mix-up in Kulp's zone, Piara Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Besim Orgen came out of the goal and Piara Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Besim Orgen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piara Santo in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes Kulp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ignacio Ereinotz who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Ereinotz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Besim Orgen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Besim Orgen made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Piara Santo sent off a good shot on target. If Piara Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Quaresma in the 34th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Piara Santo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kulp's Besim Orgen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Kulp's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Santo came free, but Besim Orgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codrin Dobrea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piara Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Besim Orgen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Kulp made a substitution. Pavel Nedvěd replaced Alpertunga Tekke. Waitakere F.C.'s Gabriel Batistuta was substituted for Piara Santo. Waitakere F.C. made a substitution. Nacho Scocco replaced Delmiro Oto. After 61 minutes Kulp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Batistuta who took care of the corner kick. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Soliwoda, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Gabriel Batistuta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waitakere F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Batistuta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Besim Orgen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Dobrea in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Ahmet Energin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcos Burni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kulp's Besim Orgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Scocco in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Waitakere F.C.'s Gabriel Batistuta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Besim Orgen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Doğuhan Tanaltay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes, Waitakere F.C.'s Iacob Penaru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Besim Orgen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Waitakere F.C. reached it. It was a well-played corner which Che Kasten managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 94 minutes into the game, Radomil Soliwoda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Burni. Radomil Soliwoda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3.
