Eugenio Manfredi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Hamberg came free, but Isaltino Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Jeremias Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaltino Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Hamberg in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Panza in the 14th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Isaltino Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Hamberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dadá Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaltino Couto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hibai in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Joel Hibai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaltino Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Johan Ström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeremias Velloso, made in the 33rd minute of the game. Isaltino Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fedele Panza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Eugenio Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Senna in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Henry Hamberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Hamberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Ström to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 53 minutes, Fausto Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes of play, Danone CC's Fausto Senna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Manfredi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaltino Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Hibai in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Lunatics of Arianrhod defense, Maurício Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Manfredi. The Lunatics of Arianrhod fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Manfredi should have stopped the shot. Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Ernesto Martini replaced Flavio Morelli. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Benedetti was substituted for Dário Pereira. Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Aurelio Epifani replaced Felice Cirigliano. Isaltino Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Maurício Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eugenio Manfredi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danone CC. Lunatics of Arianrhod's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
