The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcos Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Voja Spajić in the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Waitakere F.C.'s Piara Santo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richárd Textex was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Kaká Beaton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Burni. That made the score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kaká Beaton got free with Marcos Burni in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match, Dušan Vlahovic got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Burni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 28th minute Voja Spajić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Santo in the 29th minute of play forced Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s goalkeeper Richárd Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Waitakere F.C.'s Marcos Burni got control of the ball when Kaká Beaton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 36 minutes, Piara Santo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waitakere F.C. and the Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piara Santo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Piara Santo made a precise shot to the right of Richárd Textex. Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Dušan Vlahovic could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Marcos Burni however easily saved by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piara Santo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Piara Santo might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richárd Textex. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piara Santo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piara Santo in the 51st minute of play forced Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s goalkeeper Richárd Textex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Ereinotz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Piara Santo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Richárd Textex. Richárd Textex was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™ booed when Waitakere F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Penaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Beaton in the 68th minute of play forced Waitakere F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Huezo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Dušan Vlahovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dušan Vlahovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gu Zhan Qiang's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Richárd Textex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nacho Scocco in the 75th minute of play. Marcos Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gu Zhan Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Zhan Qiang, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Ignacio Ereinotz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Ignacio Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Waitakere F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
