A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Przemyslaw Sliwinski with Jordi Alba as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fabinho dos Santos scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billy Ek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peanut Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho dos Santos came free, but Billy Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Peanut Lord cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Acácio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Slipmaskinerna defense, Fabinho dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Ek. The Slipmaskinerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Ek should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara got control of the ball when Peanut Lord tried to sneak it across the goal line. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peanut Lord in the 27th minute of the match. Billy Ek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 30th minute of play. Billy Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Club Athletico Paulistano from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute of the match, Styrbjörn Nilsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Acácio Lara was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 40th minute of play forced Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Billy Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Billy Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho dos Santos in the 46th minute of the match. The Slipmaskinerna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Athletico Paulistano were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabinho dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Billy Ek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Slipmaskinerna's Benny Rüdiger got a free kick in the 61st minute. Agnaldo Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnaldo Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agnaldo Mattos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Acácio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonin Laruelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Slipmaskinerna's Gustav Larsfelt was substituted for Jordi Alba. Rami Funes Mori hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Abud. 79 minutes into the match, Slipmaskinerna's goalkeeper Billy Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabinho dos Santos. Billy Ek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After taking down the ball on Club Athletico Paulistano's corner Agnaldo Mattos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Billy Ek quite easily take care of the ball. Fabinho dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acácio Lara came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Slipmaskinerna's Dumetochukwu Evaggellopoulos. But to his dismay, Dumetochukwu Evaggellopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Magnusson in the 94th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
