Fabinho dos Santos started the match with the kick off. If Robert Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xie Bang Ang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 8th minute. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Rolando Haimar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Agnaldo Mattos in the 9 minute of the game. Robert Haegg might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Acácio Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robert Haegg ran back to his position shaking his head. Acácio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Robert Haegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acácio Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Haegg's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's attentive Rolando Haimar managed to snatch the ball when Glauco da Rocha made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Robert Haegg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Acácio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glauco da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Dalmacio Etxatxu got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Robert Haegg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Acácio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang got control of the ball when Fabinho dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Robert Haegg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Paulistano's Glauco da Rocha got a free kick in the 55th minute. Xie Bang Ang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Robert Haegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK made a substitution. Florentino Berasko replaced Robert Haegg. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Emilio Gonzales was substituted for Jonas Paz. Fabinho dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Bang Ang read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Club Athletico Paulistano's attentive Agnaldo Mattos managed to snatch the ball when Rolando Haimar made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Florentino Berasko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Acácio Lara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Acácio Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Gonzales in the 79th minute of the match. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Xie Bang Ang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo de Senna in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Florentino Berasko notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara. Acácio Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's Rolando Haimar got a free kick in the 94th minute. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Club Athletico Paulistano from getting a goal against them. ARedonditos de Ricota CFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
