With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Grover in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Chabier saved Pituil FC from getting behind. Marcial Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Grover, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcial Chabier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Borussia Dortmund's Baltazar Clavijo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radomir Dranka was the one to do the kick off. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Borussia Dortmund's Bertran Castillo was substituted for Emesto Llames. Pituil FC's 顾广鸿 got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Chabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Grover, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute of the match, Baltazar Clavijo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcial Chabier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Borussia Dortmund's Fernandez Quintairos was substituted for Tomas Levander. In the 96th minute of the match Borussia Dortmund got a corner. Pituil FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yakup Sargut ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Borussia Dortmund supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borussia Dortmund would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
