The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jim Martin. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Baltazar Clavijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 54th minute of the match Borussia Dortmund got a corner. Eket BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yakup Sargut ran over to the corner to take the kick. Borussia Dortmund's Baltazar Clavijo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jim Martin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Grover in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Martin saved Eket BK from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Eket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Levander came free, but Jim Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yakup Sargut in the 60th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Astor Odol advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 60th minute. Baltazar Clavijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jim Martin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Levander. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Grover in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Martin saved Eket BK from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Tomas Levander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borussia Dortmund's Bertran Castillo was substituted for Emesto Llames. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Grover in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Grover struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jim Martin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eket BK's goalkeeper Jim Martin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Grover in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Martin saved Eket BK from getting behind. Eket BK's Jim Martin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Levander in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Baltazar Clavijo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Martin. Eket BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltazar Clavijo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Borussia Dortmund made a substitution. Fernandez Quintairos replaced Tomas Levander. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Clavijo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
