The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermengildo Vimaro during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Plumerillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Vimaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Casimiro Asier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Fernández in the 14th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Yuri da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadırhan Yılğıralp came free, but Yuri da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahadırhan Yılğıralp, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzo in the 24th minute of play. Jacobo Gonzo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri da Cunha. Yuri da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Plumerillo's Abel Matro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Plumerillo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel de Godoi got free with Abel Matro in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olivedos's Yuri da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Asier in the 33rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Cássio Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel de Godoi made a kick off. Abel Matro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Magno Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Plumerillo getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hermengildo Vimaro hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Abel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel de Godoi in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Matro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Abel de Godoi. In the 88th minute Abel de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Matro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel de Godoi in the 94th minute of the match.
