Dan Vennersten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Melquiades Mambru made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carel Rokeloos in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Martin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The MORPH fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when MORPH's Carel Rokeloos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folkert Reitsma in the 13th minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Carel Rokeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot. MORPH's supporters rose to their feet, but Carel Rokeloos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Martin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Primitivo Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Mambru having to interfere. Carel Rokeloos might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Martin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carel Rokeloos ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 24 minutes, Emiliano Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORPH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Berdaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Eket BK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Primitivo Heli hit a great ball. Jim Martin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carel Rokeloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Primitivo Heli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Mambru. Primitivo Heli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Vennersten. 40 minutes into the match, MORPH's Eustacio Etxepare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jim Martin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Eket BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carel Rokeloos came free, but Jim Martin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Carel Rokeloos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Eket BK got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Heli. When Daniel Palm fell near the penalty area in the 49th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eket BK's protests and gave Daniel Palm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th minute of the match Anastasio Lluques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jim Martin skillfully saved the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pelle Blomquist was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Carel Rokeloos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Martin was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Carel Rokeloos in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Martin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Blomquist in the 57th minute of play. Jim Martin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carel Rokeloos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. MORPH made a substitution. Delmar Udalaitz replaced Emiliano Berdaitz. MORPH made a substitution. Paulo Eguen replaced Carel Rokeloos. In the 62nd minute MORPH were awarded a corner. Anastasio Lluques went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Eket BK's Pelle Blomquist got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pelle Blomquist in the 65th minute of the match. When MORPH's Paulo Eguen in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eket BK's goalie prevented a goal. MORPH's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anastasio Lluques in the 68th minute. If Lu Zhi Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
