The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sepp Mainville having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zelg FC's Frankl Nadel got a free kick in the 4th minute. Narciso Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Herz in the 8th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Eusko saved EC Rodrigus MZ from getting behind. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Narciso Eusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zelg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albain Furst in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Serge Tomasini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EC Rodrigus MZ's Narciso Eusko did a great save. In the 15th minute, Jonas Herz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Eusko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Narciso Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Herz in the 20th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Jonas Herz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EC Rodrigus MZ's Narciso Eusko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilles Clerc in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Eusko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson dos Santos got free with Sepp Mainville in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frankl Nadel kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Narciso Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelg FC's attentive Stephan Eichenberger managed to snatch the ball when Zeng Kun Shi made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Zelg FC from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The EC Rodrigus MZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zelg FC were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonas Herz to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jonas Herz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Eusko was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilles Clerc got free with Narciso Eusko in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EC Rodrigus MZ's Narciso Eusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Joélson dos Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sepp Mainville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Herz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sepp Mainville having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind EC Rodrigus MZ's goalkeeper Narciso Eusko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narciso Eusko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Herz in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Bieber to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias de Sena came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in EC Rodrigus MZ's zone, Irwin Monney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Eusko came out of the goal and Irwin Monney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Eichenberger to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Jonas Herz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Eusko. EC Rodrigus MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Herz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 92nd minute, Pedro Guilherme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Eusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's Jonas Herz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Eusko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Zelg FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than EC Rodrigus MZ.
