Timoteo Baleren hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute of the match Oséias de Sena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in EC Rodrigus MZ's zone, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Eusko came out of the goal and Gustavo-Hernán Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Eusko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 12th minute. Narciso Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Narciso Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 26th minute of play. If Gustavo-Hernán Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Fernet Branca's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ayaz Akhmetshin in the 39th minute. Pedro Guilherme hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi was the one to do the kick off. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Eusko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EC Rodrigus MZ reached it. Sebastião Carvalhais hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of EC Rodrigus MZ booed when Sportivo Fernet Branca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Carvalhais didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Damian Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Guifre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Eusko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Guifre in the 73rd minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Luiz Gustavo Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 78th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Kaj Kisky nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Eusko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Timoteo Baleren lost his temper 91 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Sportivo Fernet Branca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EC Rodrigus MZ:s goal. Joélson dos Santos placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 94 minutes into the game, Damian Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Narciso Eusko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. EC Rodrigus MZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
