In the 3rd minute, Bater Palma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeu Lamego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ye Xiang in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lamego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute Bater Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Lamego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgílio Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ye Xiang hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Ye Xiang. In the 22nd minute Bater Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu Lamego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bater Palma in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Lamego saved SAO JOANENSE FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Ye Xiang got a free kick in the 24th minute. Murillo Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harry Kane having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Lamego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Elói Cosme got a free kick in the 30th minute. Elói Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Elói Cosme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Kane was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Amadeu Lamego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bater Palma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Bater Palma made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Lamego. SAO JOANENSE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 44th minute, Avram Urducea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SAO JOANENSE FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CE LAJEADENSE RS were winning 0-2.

52 minutes into the game, Jhon Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAO JOANENSE FC the free kick. After 52 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Jhon Arias. SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bater Palma in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Bater Palma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeu Lamego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 60 minutes of play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Lamego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bater Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. Murillo Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Bater Palma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leo Iigo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Harry Kane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Cosme in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Bater Palma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Harry Kane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Amadeu Lamego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 87th minute of the match. Elias Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner Jhon Arias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeu Lamego quite easily take care of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CE LAJEADENSE RS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
