With a little luck, Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet got control of the ball when Martin Rana tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ruquense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Franck Tkint was slow to take the kick. During this time FC aDeX's players had a chance to rest. Matei Oltean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Rana got free with François-Xavier Dionnet in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aadolf Virolainen made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC aDeX's Spiro Cocca. François-Xavier Dionnet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Rana in the 16th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Neymar, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 21 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Aadolf Virolainen. If Giorgos Neymar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. FC aDeX's Matei Oltean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Ciemiega in the 35th minute of play. Aadolf Virolainen got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Basilio Fernandez. In the 41st minute Giorgos Neymar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Ruquense FC defense, Martin Rana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. The Ruquense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that François-Xavier Dionnet should have stopped the shot. FC aDeX's Valentin Bilașco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aadolf Virolainen in the 64 minute of the game. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Neymar in the 66th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC aDeX's zone, Remigio Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Oltean came out of the goal and Remigio Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Neymar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC aDeX's Giorgos Neymar got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giorgos Neymar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without François-Xavier Dionnet having to make a save. Aadolf Virolainen made in the 92nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Basilio Fernandez. The FC aDeX players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
