Bater Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Duval having to interfere. Chan Abeijon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Harry Kane made a huge save. Anísio Koehler hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match CE LAJEADENSE RS got a corner. River LOA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jhon Arias ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bater Palma heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Anísio Koehler hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jhon Arias to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Lain hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Xacobo Santis struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Harry Kane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River LOA. If Bater Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute of the match CE LAJEADENSE RS got a corner. Bater Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Duval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ye Xiang in the 43rd minute of play. Jhon Arias made a great header on CE LAJEADENSE RS's corner, it was just that River LOA's Feliciano Duval managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th match minute, River LOA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quique Ibarboure to maneuver through the defense. In the 47thth minute of the game Bater Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River LOA's Feliciano Duval was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bater Palma made a kick off. Bater Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ye Xiang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliciano Duval read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bater Palma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River LOA's Feliciano Duval was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bater Palma did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Feliciano Duval 54 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Bater Palma sped through River LOA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliciano Duval. Bater Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Bater Palma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Duval. River LOA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bater Palma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When Avram Urducea came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CE LAJEADENSE RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Urducea couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes, Amancio Gorostizaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River LOA and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, River LOA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Gorostizaga to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Duval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 69th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes River LOA got a freekick which was hit by Xacobo Santis. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Bater Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bater Palma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Duval breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Feliciano Duval showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bater Palma in the 87th minute of the match. Feliciano Duval didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ye Xiang went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. River LOA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Bater Palma scored to the left of an out of position Feliciano Duval, making the score, 1-6. CE LAJEADENSE RS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
