The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alaaddin Solskjær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İbrahim Akın in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Gençyaz in the 4th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Hopp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cüneyt Baba having to interfere. In the 14th minute FC Kurdistan were awarded a corner. Roberto-Carlos da Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. Roberto-Carlos da Silva made a great header on FC Kurdistan's corner, it was just that ALTAY MYTHS's Cüneyt Baba managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Jörgen Levander put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cüneyt Baba. 20 minutes into the match, ALTAY MYTHS's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Levander came free, but Cüneyt Baba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Fredric Hybbert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cüneyt Baba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cüneyt Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Hopp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 minutes ALTAY MYTHS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto-Carlos da Silva who took care of the corner kick. FC Kurdistan's Yin Yun Fan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cüneyt Baba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cüneyt Baba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Levander's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes of play, FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cüneyt Baba was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Kurdistan's Lars Bammerman was substituted for Jörgen Levander. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Bammerman in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cüneyt Baba saved ALTAY MYTHS from getting behind. Lars Bammermans short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Cüneyt Baba to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Kurdistan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roberto-Carlos da Silva in the 48th minute. After 50 minutes ALTAY MYTHS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto-Carlos da Silva who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Kurdistan's corner Roberto-Carlos da Silva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cüneyt Baba quite easily take care of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Bammerman made a kick off. Cüneyt Baba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bammerman in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Roberto-Carlos da Silva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cüneyt Baba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Lars Bammerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kurdistan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After some careless play in the ALTAY MYTHS defense, Lars Bammerman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cüneyt Baba. The ALTAY MYTHS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cüneyt Baba should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ALTAY MYTHS's Hakkı İzmirli got a free kick in the 65th minute. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Ubaldo Ritchie replaced Nils Hopp. Hakkı İzmirli kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lars Bammerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cüneyt Baba was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Lars Bammerman might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cüneyt Baba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. ALTAY MYTHS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. FC Kurdistan's Roberto-Carlos da Silva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hıdır Vahdet, made in the 98th minute of the game. FC Kurdistan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
