Gothic Souls's attentive Jaume Roure managed to snatch the ball when Tony Pacheco made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gothic Souls's Erhan Ascı. But to his dismay, Erhan Ascı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lemi Uğurlubey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tio Lio in the 14th minute. Tio Lio scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lemi Uğurlubey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lemi Uğurlubey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Lemi Uğurlubey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Ascı in the 24th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lemi Uğurlubey. Edgardo Silva showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gong Yong in the 33rd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Gothic Souls were awarded a corner. Filomeno Olivos went to the cornerflag to take it. Filomeno Olivos made a great header on Gothic Souls's corner, it was just that New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamer Özgu in the 38th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Yong in the 40th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Yong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lemi Uğurlubey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tio Lio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gothic Souls made a substitution. Hilmi Tanpınar replaced Gong Yong. New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng was substituted for Lalo Rosas. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tamer Özgu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremy Nicholas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The Gothic Souls fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Gothic Souls's Tamer Özgu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamer Özgu in the 74th minute of play. When Gothic Souls's Hilmi Tanpınar in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilmi Tanpınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Erhan Ascı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Gothic Souls's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Pacheco came free, but Lemi Uğurlubey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilmi Tanpınar struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gothic Souls. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. Gothic Souls's Aytek İmar was substituted for Filomeno Olivos. When Gothic Souls's Hilmi Tanpınar in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye New England Minas's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Gothic Souls defense, Arturo Sito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lemi Uğurlubey. The Gothic Souls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lemi Uğurlubey should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Arturo Sito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
