Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kristopher Le Saux made the kick off which started today's match. Arnaud Konieczny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Le Saux came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Edgardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Curcio. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Curcio should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Curcio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Curcio saved Yala from getting behind. After having played for 32 minutes, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Xiao Bang Kun hit a great ball. Aytunç Buminhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Aytunç Buminhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. The Yala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New England Minas were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristopher Le Saux in the 57th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Alberto Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New England Minas made a substitution. Zachery Church replaced Roman Major. New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng was substituted for Lalo Rosas. Alberto Jaunti hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Yala's Zeledon Curcio got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Le Saux, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Le Saux in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute Kristopher Le Saux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yala's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Edgardo Silva scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Curcio, making the score, 0-2. If Edgardo Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgardo Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Zeledon Curcio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Yala's Zeledon Curcio got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Zeledon Curcio managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when New England Minas's Edgardo Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 89 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Curcio was left in no man's land by his defense there! New England Minas made a substitution. Arturo Sito replaced Tio Lio. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Matela, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Yala fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. New England Minas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
