A collision led to Gothic Souls getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lovis Schobel hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Lars Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Sundström might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lemi Uğurlubey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Sundström ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Erhan Ascı kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alaaddin Solskjær. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Erhan Ascı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alaaddin Solskjær made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Lars Sundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lemi Uğurlubey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alaaddin Solskjær made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Tamer Özgu sent off a good shot on target. Erhan Ascı in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Nils Hopp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Tamer Özgu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alaaddin Solskjær. FC Kurdistan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tamer Özgu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erhan Ascı stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Lars Sundström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 57 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lemi Uğurlubey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erhan Ascı in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alaaddin Solskjær saved FC Kurdistan from getting behind. FC Kurdistan's Jörgen Levander was substituted for Ubaldo Ritchie. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gothic Souls's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erhard Esbo was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. Lemi Uğurlubey made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Yin Yun Fan sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Lars Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lemi Uğurlubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erhan Ascı in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gothic Souls's Lemi Uğurlubey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Gothic Souls from getting a goal against them. A sloppy throw-in by Erdinç Sarıalp in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Kurdistan's Carlos-Alberto Bayona. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Lars Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kurdistan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Bammerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lemi Uğurlubey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
