Zeledon Curcio made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Milosz Hejza sent off a good shot on target. Zeledon Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Hejza in the 15th minute. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milosz Hejza in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Marcinho Sena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Curcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 25th minute, Alberto Jaunti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yala's Freddy Valentine in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Matungo Gaúcho's Ademir Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaud Konieczny in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Freddy Valentine made a kick off. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Sena in the 51st minute of play. Zeledon Curcio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milosz Hejza's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Florinio came free, but Zeledon Curcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Matungo Gaúcho were awarded a corner. Gilmar Borges went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gilmar Borges almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Yala's Zeledon Curcio did a great save. In the 59th match minute, Yala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Best to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Gilmar Borges sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Curcio skillfully saved the ball. Gilmar Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Curcio having to interfere. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Florinio in the 65th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Freddy Valentine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matungo Gaúcho's Ademir Baptista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilmar Borges was slow to take the kick. During this time Matungo Gaúcho's players had a chance to rest. Yala's Zeledon Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Florinio in the 78th minute of play. The Matungo Gaúcho fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Matungo Gaúcho's Milosz Hejza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Florinio in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Matungo Gaúcho's Celedonio Florinio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Curcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Zeledon Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milosz Hejza in the 86th minute of play.
