The audience was convinced that Mauricio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iker Casillas was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naim Cheche in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villa Gordiani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgard Teles was slow to take the kick. During this time Super Penalitop's players had a chance to rest. After 16 minutes of play, Super Penalitop's Naim Cheche made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iker Casillas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iker Casillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naim Cheche's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Carlos Claris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Canzano, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Super Penalitop's Carlos Claris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Canzano in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Super Penalitop's Ladislao Berart got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Carlos Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lia Marquez in the 24th minute of play. Super Penalitop's Carlos Claris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Super Penalitop from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute, Naim Cheche made a precise shot to the right of Iker Casillas. Villa Gordiani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Naim Cheche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Casillas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Naim Cheche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Canzano. Iker Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naim Cheche in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Super Penalitop were awarded a corner. Edgard Teles went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Andre Iniesta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas did a great save. 47 minutes into the match, Super Penalitop's Naim Cheche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Casillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Naim Cheche made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Iker Casillas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iker Casillas was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Naim Cheche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Naim Cheche really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 60 minutes into the match, Naim Cheche dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Iker Casillas, 0-5. Super Penalitop's Facundo Robak was substituted for Mauricio Jaizki. Super Penalitop made a substitution. Andres Drogba replaced Naim Cheche. 66 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Pechal came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philippe Albert got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Philippe Albert. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Andres Drogba took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Iker Casillas to make any attempt to save it. Iker Casillas made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Andres Drogba sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Villa Gordiani's Lia Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Claris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Drogba kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Casillas. That made the score 1-7 in the 85 minute of play. Andres Drogba might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iker Casillas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Drogba ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa Gordiani! Villa Gordiani:s Iker Casillas showed great skill when he stopped Edgard Teles:s penalty. The Super Penalitop supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Super Penalitop would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
