Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Villa Gordiani's Lia Marquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, one of Villa Gordiani:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa Gordiani. B O B I S A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rolf Affentranger in the 5th minute. Ralph Sanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Marrone in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Marrone in the 11th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Pfeifer in the 12th minute of play. If Fabrizio Canzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Gordiani from getting a goal against them. Villa Gordiani's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Esposito in the 20th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of B O B I S A's goalie and right to Arrigo Marrone. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. B O B I S A's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 23rd minute, B O B I S A's J.C. Mijatović ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iker Casillas. Iker Casillas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Gerry Fleischer took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iker Casillas. Iker Casillas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 33rdth minute of the game Lia Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lia Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villa Gordiani's Iker Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 38th minute of play. Fabrizio Canzano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Sanger having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Villa Gordiani were awarded a corner. Ciro Esposito went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Rab Uba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 45th match minute, B O B I S A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Affentranger to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerry Fleischer was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rolf Affentranger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Arrigo Marrone cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ralph Sanger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Fabrizio Canzano made a precise shot to the right of Ralph Sanger. B O B I S A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Boleslaw Przebendowski charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boleslaw Przebendowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Boleslaw Przebendowski kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Villa Gordiani's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Fleischer came free, but Iker Casillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Arrigo Marrone. Arrigo Marrone kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Christophe Mehri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Casillas having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Villa Gordiani's Natã de Salles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Ove Bergman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Silvio Pfeifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Casillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerry Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralph Sanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã de Salles in the 93rd minute. Fabrizio Canzano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save.
