The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real de Carmelo 2021 FC. In the 10th minute FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner. Hamza Yavaş went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Sergen Şahbender managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Richie Cagigal made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Andres Calamaro sent off a good shot on target. FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hamza Yavaş took the corner. In the 21st minute Lucho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If William Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergen Şahbender could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Richie Cagigal made a huge save. Faudel Dagorne kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacio Carcamo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eren Jaeger hit a great ball. In the 46th match minute, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucho Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Westelinx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Richie Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 55th minute of play. Richie Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 56th minute of play. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Jedrzej Kiszkiel replaced William Westelinx. Richie Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richie Cagigal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jedrzej Kiszkiel's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Jedrzej Kiszkiel took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richie Cagigal. Richie Cagigal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. FC Ouagadougou National's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
