In the 5th minute Hamza Yavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arian Beqaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 7th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergen Şahbender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arian Beqaj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Yavaş in the 19th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, William Westelinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arian Beqaj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. Arian Beqaj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Westelinx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Hamza Yavaş came free, but Arian Beqaj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, William Westelinx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arian Beqaj was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Beek City booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Calamaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Edgard Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beek City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Magdaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Calamaro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Ademir Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Rene Vereijt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Botello's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 52 minutes, Fabio Botello made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Magdaleno in the 57th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Botello in the 62nd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Botello came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Beek City's Arian Beqaj got control of the ball when Sean Westelinx tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergen Şahbender in the 74th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Arian Beqaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes FC Ouagadougou National's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ademir Rodrigues who took care of the corner kick. Arian Beqaj made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sean Westelinx in the 86th minute. Jedrzej Kiszkiel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arian Beqaj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, FC Ouagadougou National was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riemer Ax to maneuver through the defense. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Ouagadougou National had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
