A sloppy throw-in by Emil Modrzewski in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Ouagadougou National's Sean Westelinx. 32 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Rasiak came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Calamaro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With his leg Rene Vereijt managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Pankracy Rasiak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After some careless play in the FC Ouagadougou National defense, Marian Duszenski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Vereijt. The FC Ouagadougou National fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Vereijt should have stopped the shot. Emil Modrzewski made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ziemowit Smolarek. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Smolarek in the 55th minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Nazmi Tanberk replaced Jedrzej Kiszkiel. After 62 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Topolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paolo Evis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filip Topolski came out and tried to block the shot, but Paolo Evis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 65th minute. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ziemowit Smolarek in the 68th minute of the match. If William Westelinx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. William Westelinx might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Topolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Westelinx ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Filip Topolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Westelinx. 78 minutes into the match, William Westelinx notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Filip Topolski. Filip Topolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filip Topolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Westelinx in the 82nd minute. Filip Topolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Westelinx went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. Nazmi Tanberk kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Topolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Faudel Dagorne got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Ouagadougou National had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
