The tension between the Cyprus Eagles AFC and the TAQUARI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sakis Melisofagos hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Fotiadis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavlos Fotiadis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 35 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Tinoco. In the 41st minute, Chrisostomos Karteris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilton Vale scored 2-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pavlos Fotiadis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nontas Markas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, one of Cyprus Eagles AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cyprus Eagles AFC. The referee gave TAQUARI FC a penalty, 52 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wilton Vale, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis. 3-0. The TAQUARI FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Cyprus Eagles AFC's Pavlos Fotiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Vale in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilton Vale in the 87th minute of play forced Cyprus Eagles AFC's goalkeeper Pavlos Fotiadis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Cyprus Eagles AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Melisofagos to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pavlos Fotiadis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
