The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. William Andries received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but William Andries slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 10th minute, William Andries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Andries in the 17th minute of the match. With his leg Rodolfo Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's William Andries fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save TAQUARI FC from getting a goal against them. ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Specht in the 25th minute. William Andries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as William Andries kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Salgado. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Andries in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Salgado saved TAQUARI FC from getting behind. William Andries might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Andries ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Andries's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Wilton Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's Zbigniew Brudzisz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Bernard Letourneau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, William Andries kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Salgado should have stopped the shot. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Sabahaddin in the 56th minute of play. Ernani Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernani Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Andries in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς's William Andries sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Andries came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that William Andries's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Salgado was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for ภคгς๏tเς ฬ๏๏๔קєςкєгร Ŧς. Niels Vandamme stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rodolfo Salgado. 5-0. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. In the 97th minute, William Andries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TAQUARI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
