Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodney Lindov in the 5th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikola Mirotić, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Nikola Mirotić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikola Mirotić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dorin Banu made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Olimpia HSB's Sixto Yanguas. 17 minutes into the match, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolek Kiszkiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The Olimpia HSB fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 24th minute, Sixto Yanguas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Abecia hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dinu Grigoroiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tolek Kiszkiel having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Caramarin in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Kiszkiel saved Olimpia HSB from getting behind. In the 34th minute Fabian Czeszejko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of MIT booed when Olimpia HSB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Yanguas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Olimpia HSB from getting a goal against them. MIT's Calistrat Madgearu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fabian Czeszejko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olimpia HSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Olimpia HSB's Artur Walczak got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Czeszejko was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Fabian Czeszejko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Madgearu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Calistrat Madgearu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Czeszejko's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. 70 minutes into the game, Florin Seremet threw the ball into play from the sideline. Olimpia HSB's Artur Walczak quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Olimpia HSB's Wilfredo Vellito was substituted for Sixto Yanguas. Jacek Pietrowiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Jacek Pietrowiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 85th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpia HSB's Artur Walczak got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacek Pietrowiak in the 92nd minute of the match. Jacek Pietrowiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MIT supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olimpia HSB's performance. The match ended with a win for Olimpia HSB.
