Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FCFiratRom's Ejder Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of MIT booed when FCFiratRom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anıl Ozan Şaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baybars Yılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Omero Cobain tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejder Baba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omero Cobain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ejder Baba having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oso Bucuk to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Tiberiu Caramarin in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 70th match minute, FCFiratRom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Kundak to maneuver through the defense. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. After 71 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Murat Kundak. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Ejder Baba to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 79 minutes, Oso Bucuk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCFiratRom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oso Bucuk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Tunander got free with Ejder Baba in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Bucataru kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Carlo Holse shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calistrat Madgearu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Tunander got free with Ejder Baba in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tunander in the 93rd minute of play forced FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Ejder Baba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Oso Bucuk. When the final whistle sounded MIT left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FCFiratRom.
