Guaberto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Montez in the 4th minute of play. Ladislao Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Kieca having to interfere. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mainumby's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Traczewski was slow to take the kick. During this time Russówek's players had a chance to rest. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Montez in the 21st minute of play. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Russówek's Gregorio Montez. But to his dismay, Gregorio Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Russówek booed when Mainumby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Montez in the 32nd minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Guaberto Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Tomporowski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Ladislao Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mainumby made a substitution. Francisco Dominic replaced Ladislao Serafo. Mainumby made a substitution. Victor Gelmiro replaced Dionisio Acevedo. Ladislao Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lázaro Chap was the one to do the kick off. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Montez in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Gregorio Montez took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Guaberto Cucao to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Salvador Quezada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Quezada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Cucao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guaberto Cucao was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61stth minute of the game Gregorio Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregorio Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Cucao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Russówek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Traczewski in the 67th minute. Guaberto Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Gdowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute of the match, Salvador Quezada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guaberto Cucao was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Russówek's Jakub Gdowski. But to his dismay, Jakub Gdowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The supporters of Mainumby booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kennet Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Lázaro Chap made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Kieca. Russówek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Dominic in the 89th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Cucao was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Jakub Gdowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jakub Gdowski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Guaberto Cucao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Skonieczny went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. The Russówek players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
