Tord Fors made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when David Batuhin sent off a good shot on target. Tord Fors stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Batuhin's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Batuhin in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tord Fors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Batuhin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Tord Fors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cuatrodeocho. 15 minutes into the match, David Batuhin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Smurfarna's Tord Fors. Tord Fors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, David Batuhin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuatrodeocho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Smurfarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andy Entrena was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuatrodeocho's players had a chance to rest. Andy Entrena made a great header on Cuatrodeocho's corner, it was just that Smurfarna's Tord Fors managed to reach the ball for a save. When David Batuhin came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cuatrodeocho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Batuhin couldn't finish the play. Tord Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match Cuatrodeocho got a corner. Smurfarna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Entrena ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the Cuatrodeocho defense, Tord Gustafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Marin. The Cuatrodeocho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Marin should have stopped the shot. Smurfarna's Tord Fors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Smurfarna from getting a goal against them. José Planes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Tord Fors made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Batuhin was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Fors was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cuatrodeocho's Eraldo Berardini was substituted for José Planes. A collision led to Smurfarna getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Berto Romero hit a great ball. If David Batuhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes, Cuatrodeocho's Eraldo Berardini shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tord Fors came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuatrodeocho reached it. Cuatrodeocho's Inge Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Askstedt in the 66th minute of play. Inge Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Batuhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tord Fors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Tord Fors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Batuhin in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Fors made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Cuatrodeocho's Iván Villafane was substituted for David Batuhin. Inge Marin came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Smurfarna's Arne Askstedt. But to his dismay, Arne Askstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Elliott Dalman with Jens Björling as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Berto Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
