Emilio Sugar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Márcio Vilanova had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Sugar. Matador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márcio Vilanova was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sondre Lillegård received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Emilio Sugar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ricardo Jordão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Sugar. Matador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Jordão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some careless play in the Matador defense, Márcio Vilanova kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emilio Sugar. The Matador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emilio Sugar should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Jordão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Sugar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sondre Lillegård in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Sugar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Asbjørn Sundal came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Matador's Teo Veto. But to his dismay, Teo Veto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ezequiel Saturnin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Hipolito Primo notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of ADCR Loreto United FC's Asbjørn Sundal. Asbjørn Sundal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Matador's Emilio Sugar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Matador from getting a goal against them. Emilio Sugar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Márcio Vilanova in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Txaran in the 53rd minute of play forced ADCR Loreto United FC's goalkeeper Asbjørn Sundal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-5 became the score in the 54th minute when Sondre Lillegård elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Matador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Márcio Vilanova scored to the left of an out of position Emilio Sugar, making the score, 2-6. Matador made a substitution. Hermengildo Medero replaced Anacleto Txaran. A collision led to Matador getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Teobaldo Mannuel hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's Sondre Lillegård sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Sugar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute ADCR Loreto United FC were awarded a corner. Benedito Coelho went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to ADCR Loreto United FC's Eusébio Taborda getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Sondre Lillegård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asbjørn Sundal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Sondre Lillegård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADCR Loreto United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sondre Lillegård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Jordão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Emilio Sugar made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, ADCR Loreto United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Veto came free, but Asbjørn Sundal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Márcio Vilanova had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Sugar. Matador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Márcio Vilanova was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-7. In the 88th minute, Márcio Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asbjørn Sundal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Primo in the 91st minute of play. The ADCR Loreto United FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
