The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aage Hill in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Segmon IF's zone, Aage Hill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Glad came out of the goal and Aage Hill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Arendarski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robert Dubiel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Monte Hermoso Beach's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viktor Petrus in the 17th minute. Monte Hermoso Beach's Viktor Petrus was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfons Glad in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aage Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfons Glad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Emil Arendarski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Löfdahl in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Segmon IF's Lars-Erik Lidström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Arendarski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Aage Hill took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Glad. Alfons Glad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 32 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Lidström came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Beck to maneuver through the defense. Emil Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Lidström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Segmon IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Beck to maneuver through the defense. Aage Hill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aage Hill scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfons Glad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Séamus Babasidis kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Séamus Babasidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Löfdahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfons Glad was a little too slow when Hector Montrel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Segmon IF defense, Evert Holm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfons Glad. The Segmon IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfons Glad should have stopped the shot. Séamus Babasidis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Joseph Österlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Arendarski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Löfdahl came free, but Emil Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Petrus kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hector Montrel took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Glad. Alfons Glad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. 71 minutes into the match, Hector Montrel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfons Glad. Segmon IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Montrel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. In the 74th minute, Hector Montrel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Hermoso Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. Emil Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lidström in the 80th minute of play. Hector Montrel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfons Glad having to make a save. Segmon IF's Alfons Glad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Hector Montrel made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Glad. Segmon IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Genaro Eskuin replaced Viktor Petrus. 3-8 became the score in the 92nd minute when Viktor Biörnberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The Monte Hermoso Beach players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
