Napoleon Kolbert made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fotis Katramados. Anthony Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Big Hands having to interfere. Cirilo Arlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Ramon Pueblo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With his leg Big Hands managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Fotis Katramados fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Franciszek Lerych in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Big Hands made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fotis Katramados in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute Anthony Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Big Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Meza came free, but Big Hands reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Pueblo scored 2-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franciszek Lerych, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramon Pueblo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fotis Katramados in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Big Hands saved BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB from getting behind. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dorotheos Kakatsios hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Napoleon Kolbert got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ramon Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramon Pueblo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franciszek Lerych firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ramon Pueblo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Franciszek Lerych came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramon Pueblo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 66th minute. Big Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Meza in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match FC Dwa Do Ósmej got a corner. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honesto Cuetos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Franciszek Lerych successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Ramon Pueblo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franciszek Lerych. That made the score 2-4 after 80 minutes of play. After 92 minutes, Anthony Meza made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Big Hands tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Anthony Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
