Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lee Kerr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lee Kerr came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Pragmáticos 1903's Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis. But to his dismay, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Lee Kerr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calum Frost got free with Fabrício Adriel in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Clapham Comets F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Cumhur Tanacan hit a great ball. Lee Kerr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Adriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fitz Hubbard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 45th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Lee Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cumhur Tanacan to strike the kick off in the second half. Lee Kerr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 55th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Paijo Prima came free, but Fabrício Adriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
