The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Red Proud FC's Hernan Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florencio Cutberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dave Signoretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Signoretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lartaun Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Donostia in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lartaun Ibar saved Red Proud FC from getting behind. In the 20th minute, SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Gilbert Godefroid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lartaun Ibar. Lartaun Ibar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 22nd minute of the match, Santiago Mattin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lartaun Ibar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 24 played minutes SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Dropinski. Lartaun Ibar made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Froilan Donostia sent off a good shot on target. Lartaun Ibar was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Dave Signoretti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dave Signoretti really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Lartaun Ibar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Florencio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Lechințan in the 44th minute of play. Lartaun Ibar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Gilbert Godefroid sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's goalkeeper Florencio Cutberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Lartaun Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jonatan Mateo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lartaun Ibar having to make a save. Lartaun Ibar came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Mats Linqvist. But to his dismay, Mats Linqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 95th minute SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV were awarded a corner. Micco Maradudin went to the cornerflag to take it. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's Micco Maradudin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lartaun Ibar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SPORTIVO BELLA VISTA SBV's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
