Kjønstad BF's Guaberto Boniel was substituted for Thor Gaarder. 22 minutes into the game, one of Kjønstad BF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Eliseo Sagrario made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Toma Lechev sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Piara Veloz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarle Volden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Jan Hendrik Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarle Volden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Sagrario made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Toma Lechev sent off a good shot on target. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Veloz in the 38th minute of play. Josef Vrobel's late challenge caught a Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Vrobel helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vamos Los Pibes!!!! eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
