The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobromir Domalik hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Cedric Van Langhendoncx was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pedro Luís Peixoto. A sloppy throw-in by Tamer Aksel in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lunar Park's Tomasz Juzda. With a little luck, Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx got control of the ball when Toma Lechev tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Jarle Volden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lunar Park were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Taillade took the corner. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Vrobel in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Fabien Canu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarle Volden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kjønstad BF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Taillade was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunar Park's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Lunar Park's Dobromir Domalik to fire away a dangerous shot which Jarle Volden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx got control of the ball when Toma Lechev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Tomasz Juzda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toma Lechev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toma Lechev in the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabien Canu to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Jarle Volden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarle Volden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabien Canu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Canu in the 56th minute of play. Lunar Park's Dobromir Domalik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jarle Volden in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Toma Lechev came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toma Lechev couldn't finish the play. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Kjønstad BF from getting a goal against them. After 62 minutes of play, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarle Volden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarle Volden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabien Canu in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Tamer Aksel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Reidar Nordhaug replaced Toma Lechev. In the 68th match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamer Aksel to maneuver through the defense. Fabien Canu might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarle Volden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabien Canu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fabien Canu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jarle Volden made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Fabien Canu sent off a good shot on target. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Kjønstad BF from getting a goal against them. Kjønstad BF's Jørund Leira was substituted for Ulises Otsoko. Tamer Aksel made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jørund Leira immediately put the ball in play. Jarle Volden made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Carlos Taillade sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Fabien Canu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Fabien Canu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarle Volden. The goal made the score 1-2. The Lunar Park players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
