The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Henrik Biörnberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fresta BK Väsby defense, Michal Betonowy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Östlund. The Fresta BK Väsby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Östlund should have stopped the shot. In the 14thth minute of the game Dunixi Laurenciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fresta BK Väsby's Axel Östlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Maccabi Netanya's Ahmet Danış Keçecioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Östlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Fresta BK Väsby's goalkeeper Axel Östlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Danış Keçecioğlu. Henrik Biörnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Zoff having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Biörnberg in the 28th minute of play forced Maccabi Netanya's goalkeeper Raul Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maccabi Netanya's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Öberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Fresta BK Väsby's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Åke Månsson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Fresta BK Väsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Månsson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Tadmor Netaniyahu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maccabi Netanya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadmor Netaniyahu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Patrik Öberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Zoff was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 38th minute, Patrik Öberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fresta BK Väsby's Axel Östlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Fresta BK Väsby from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the match, Fresta BK Väsby's goalkeeper Axel Östlund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadmor Netaniyahu. Fresta BK Väsby's Axel Östlund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fresta BK Väsby from getting a goal against them. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maccabi Netanya reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fresta BK Väsby made a substitution. Jânio Cunha replaced Henrik Biörnberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Cunha in the 53rd minute of play forced Maccabi Netanya's goalkeeper Raul Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Fresta BK Väsby's goal looked a bit too open when Dunixi Laurenciano came free, but Axel Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57th play minutes Mikael Apelquist shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Raul Zoff and just under the crossbar into goal. Raul Zoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jânio Cunha took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Raul Zoff to make any attempt to save it. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Raul Zoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The throw-in from Aurelio Tanio in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fresta BK Väsby's Adam Sävström. When Mikael Apelquist came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Fresta BK Väsby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Apelquist couldn't finish the play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Fresta BK Väsby's Jânio Cunha in the 82nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Raul Zoff was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Maccabi Netanya through an amazing save. 83 minutes into the game, Maccabi Netanya's Michal Betonowy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Axel Östlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Jânio Cunha hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Dunixi Laurenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Östlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff got control of the ball when Mikael Apelquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raul Zoff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zdenek Krček went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Pankracy Juroszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th match minute, Fresta BK Väsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Overloop to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fresta BK Väsby walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
